September was the month for conducting interviews with 12 registered-practising counsellors in Malaysia. This was the part that I liked most of the research. By conducting interviews, I can meet different people and learn about different things that could tell me a story regarding malaysian counsellors' understanding and practice of multicultural counselling in Malaysia. The first and second interviews were carried out on 10th September 2009. The rest of the month was spent with families and friends because Eid Mubarak fell on 20th September 2009. So, my parents and I (of course with nawfal) departed from KL to Kuching on 14th September 2009 and we stayed in Kuching until 23th September 2009. For me, this was a self-reward after doing all the hard work of p reparing for survey packages with the help of my parents. So, I did enjoy myself with visiting relatives and interesting places in Kuching. A truly enriching experience for me!
Then, on 25th september 2009, we headed back to Lumut, Perak, to celebrate Eid with mom and dad's families at batu 4, segari. The best part of course eating delicious lunch at my big brother's house with a specil dish made from crab...Yummmmmm!!! On 28th September 2009, we went back to KL. So, that's the end of my 'energising' period. Time to focus on work now. More interviews will be coming and more new things that I will learn... Chaiyok! Chaiyok!
Data Collection: The good, the bad, and the challenging times/tasks.
Being energised!
